Spinach Fatayers

Ingredients

  • 200g plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 200ml water
  • 400g fresh spinach, chopped and squeezed to remove water
  • 250g onions, peeled and minced
  • 50g pine nuts
  • 1 lemon, juice only
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sumac spice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Description

These Are Usually Served As Part Of A Mezzé In Middle Eastern Countries. They Are Little Pastry Snacks Stuffed With Fresh Spinach And Pine Nuts.
