- 300ml (½ pint) skimmed milk
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
- 2-3 drops of Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and black pepper
- 1 egg
- 115g (4oz) fresh white breadcrumbs
- Vegetable or olive oil for brushing
