Beef Tenderloin With Cherry Port Sauce & Gorgonzola

Ingredients

4 beef tenderloin steaks, 1-inch thick (about 1 1/2 pounds)

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme leaves or 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed

Vegetable cooking spray

1 medium onion, cut in half and sliced (about 1 cup)

1 cup Swanson® Beef Broth or Swanson® Beef Stock

3/4 cup tawny port wine or other semi-sweet dessert wine

1/2 cup dried cherries or dried cranberries

1 tablespoon butter

1/4 cup crumbled Gorgonzola or blue cheese
