- 1 teaspoon Dijon-style or whole-grain mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 4 large skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 2 lb.)
- 8 ounces green, white, and/or purple asparagus, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and ground black pepper
