1/2 teaspoon Calumet Baking Powder
3/4 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or other shortening
1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups Grape-Nuts Flakes
3/4 cup chopped salted peanuts
Or use 1 1/2 cups Post 40% Bran Flakes or Post Raisin Bran.
