- Tie in cheesecloth:
- 6 Fresh parsley stems
- 1/2 teaspoon Dried leaf thyme
- 1/2 Bay leaf
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup Cold milk (about)
- 3 ounces Dried Tomatoes (not oil-pack)
- 2 cups Chicken broth
- Chopped Herbs for garnish (basil, chervil, or parsley)
Description
Half-and-half Or Light Cream Is Seasoned And Slightly Thickened To Form The Base Of This Smooth Soup. Dried Tomatoes, Rehydrated In Chicken Broth And Blended With The Cream, Add Color And Flavor.
