1 cup cauliflower florets
1 medium head cabbage, chopped
4 cups baby spinach, packed
2 c. sliced zucchini
5 plum tomatoes, sliced
1 15-oz can cannellini (white kidney) beans
1 15-oz can light or dark red kidney beans
1 c. small pasta (bowties, ditallini, small shells, etc)
4 tsp sugar (it makes a difference!)
dried herbs to taste (basil, oregano)
black pepper and sea salt to taste
grated parmesan cheese (optional)
