Navy Bean Bacon Chowder

Ingredients

    1.5 C dried navy beans, rinsed and sorted

    2 C cold water

    6 Slices Thick-cut Bacon

    1 Medium Carrot, cut lengthwise into halves, then cut into 1 inch pieces

    1 small turnip cut into 1-inch pieces

    1 t celery salt

    1 medium onion, chopped

    1 t Italian seasonin

    1/8 t black pepper

    1 can (46 oz) reduced sodium chicken broth

    1 C milk
