1 teaspoons baking soda
1/5 teaspoon salt
WET MIX:
1 cups water (cold coffee can be used instead, if you like)
1/4 cup mashed banana (oil sub)
1/4 cup smooth applesauce
1 tablespoons cider or malt vinegar
2 tsp vanilla
BRYANNA'S VEGAN COFFEE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING
1/2 cup Earth Balance original version from the tub (NOT the whipped version)
2 cups and 13 tbsp powders sugar
5.5 teaspoons nondairy milk
3/4 tablespoon instant coffee or espresso powder
1/2 tbsp coffee liqueur (such as Kahlua)-- or you can use Amaretto or rum or brandy
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup chopped, toasted pecans
1/2 cup toasted coconut flakes (the larger kind)
