Ingredients
- 3T spray butter
1.5 t basil
.5 t minced garlic
Melt butter together and add:
4 c low salt tomato juice
14 oz. can diced tomatoes (garlic and oregano)
.5 t salt
.25 t pepper
.5 t baking powder (neutralizes the acid in tomatoes)
1.5 T Splenda brown sugar
Bring to a boil and thicken with white sauce:
.75 cup 1% milk
5 T flour
Add to taste:
Lemon juice
.33 c parmesan cheese
