1/4 t fennel seeds, crushed
1 1/2 c cooked beans (kidney, pinto, cannellini)
2 c tomatoes (fresh plum diced, or canned no salt)
1/3 c uncooked quinoa
6 c water
1 c fresh spinach, chiffonade
3 T basil, chiffonade
2 oz Parmigiano Reggiano (finely grated ~ 1/2 c opt)
