Ingredients

    1&1/2 cups oatmeal
    1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
    1/3 cup crushed walnuts
    1/4 cup flax meal
    1/2 t. caraway seeds
    2 t. baking powder
    1/2 t. salt
    1/3 cup light brown sugar
    1 omega-3 egg
    1/3 cup olive or sunflower oil
    1 cup fat free milk mixed with 2 t. lemon juice to make "buttermilk"
