  • Neck bone and giblets from turkey (do not use liver)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 celery rib, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 firm apple, chopped
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
