  • About 1 1/2 to 3 cups fat-skimmed chicken broth
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 9 ounces fresh fettuccine or 8 ounces dried fettuccine
  • 2 tablespoons slivered fresh basil leaves
