- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter or margarine
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon dark corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
