- 2 cloves garlic, minced (chopped)
- 6 - 8 cups chicken stock
- 1 16-oz. can peeled tomatoes, crushed
- 1/2 pound dried lentils (1 1/4 cups)
- 12 large fresh spinach leaves, cut into small pieces
- Salt and pepper to taste
