- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 5 tablespoons butter, cubed
- 1 egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water to make an egg wash
