- 1 15-ounce can pumpkin
- 1/2 of a vanilla bean, split lengthwise, or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3 Poached Pear halves and 1 cup pear liquid (see recipe below)
- 1/2 cup half-and-half, light cream, or milk
- Creme Fraiche (see recipe below)
- Ground nutmeg (optional)
