Ingredients

  • 1 14-pound  turkey
  •   Salt
  •   Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 medium  onion, cut into wedges

  • 6   fresh rosemary sprigs (4 to 5 inches long)
  • 4   fresh thyme sprigs (4 to 5 inches long)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons  cooking oil
  • 1 6-ounce can  frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 3/4 cup  reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup  margarine or butter, melted
  •   Reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 4 teaspoons  finely snipped fresh rosemary or 2 teaspoons dried rosemary, crushed
  • 3 tablespoons  cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup  reduced-sodium chicken broth
  •   Candied fruit slices and/or fresh fruit, such as pears, oranges, and kumquats (optional)
