  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • blue food colouring

For the filling
  • 300g/10½ icing sugar

  • 150g/5¼oz butter, softened

  • 6 tbsp good-quality strawberry jam

For the covering
  • 500g/1lb 2oz white, ready-made marzipan

  • 2-3 tbsp icing sugar, for dusting
