- 1/2 Kg chicken breasts, cut into very thin 1/8 inch slices

- 1/2 cup red bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup celery, thinly sliced
- 1 cup spinach, washed and cut into pieces
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp ginger, minced
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp szechwan pepper
- 1/8 tsp asafetida powder
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 fresh chili peppers sliced
- 2 cups tomatoes, chopped
- 6 cups vegetable/chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp chopped cilantro (to garnish)
