- 6 cups thin poha or 3 cups each toasted rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies) and toasted corn-ball cereal (such as Kix)
- 3 fresh jalapeño chilies (2 1/2 oz. total)
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 cup roasted unsalted peanuts
- 1/4 cup roasted unsalted cashews
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala (or 1/4 teaspoon each ground coriander and cumin)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
