Lu Usupa (icelandic Halibut Soup) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 lb halibut steaks
  • 4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 2 x bay leaves
  •     Salt to taste
  • 16 x prunes stoned, and
  •     cut into 4 pcs each
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  •     Juice of 1/2 lemon or possibly to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
