Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh kumquats (2 1/2 ounces), see Note
  2. 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  3. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  4. 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  5. 1/2 tablespoon honey
  6. 1 tablespoon green peppercorns in brine, drained and coarsely crushed
  7. 1/2 tablespoon black peppercorns, cracked
  8. 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  9. 3/4 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  10. 2 tablespoons finely chopped scallions
  11. 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  12. 1/2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
