  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. finely ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 C. butter, softened
  • 1/2 C. light brown sugar, packed
  • 2/3 C. natural, unsulfured molasses
  • 1 lg. egg
