Annika's Foolproof Breadrolls (annika's Idiotsakra Semlor)


  • 500ml milk or yoghurt or a mix of both
  • 1 baggie dried yeast (11g) or 25 g fresh yeast
  • 1000ml wheat flour
  • 300ml rye flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1tsp honey or sugar
  • 50g butter
  • a big handful grated cheese (any leftover will do, or parmesan)
  • 200°C oven
  • Two baking trays.


These Never Fail. This Dough Is Suitable For Small Individual Breadrolls, Or For Loaves, Or A Large Freeform Bread. It Doesn't Get Sticky, And Is Easy To Work With.
