Ingredients
- A slice of beef cut from the top of the rump, about 2.5cm thick, weighing approx. 700g
FOR THE MARINADE:
- 1 tablespoon Maldon salt/ 1/2 teaspoon table salt
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons black peppercorns, crushed
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped Parsley
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped thyme
- 80ml vodka
- 60ml olive oil
TO COOK:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for approx. frying
- 15g butter
- 100ml beef stock
