Asparagus Soup


  • 500g asparagus spears
  • 60g butter
  • 1 TBSP fresh chervil or 1 large sprig thyme
  •  1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic sliced
  • 2 potatoes peeled and chopped
  • 1 Litre water
  • salt white pepper
  • whipped cream to serve
  • extra chervil or thyme to serve (finely chopped)
