Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups bread flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice
- 1/3 cup cold butter
- 1 1/4 cups sourdough starter
- 2 tablespoons milk (optional)
- coarse sugar, for garnish (optional)
Description
While Trying To Use Up Some Excess Sourdough Starter, I Developed This Recipe. The Scones Come Out Really Tender And Moist And My Kids Love The Cinnamon-y Taste From The Apple Pie Spice.
