Aunt Tootie's Pineapple Pie


  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, with juice
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (9 inch) refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg


Custard Pie Is Brightened With Crushed Pineapple In This Fun And Easy Pie. When I Was Little, My Best-friends Great-aunt Tootie Would Make This Pie For The Family Each And Every Summer At Her Home In Iowa And It Became A Favorite Of My Family Too!
