Apricot Frangipane Cake Recipe


  • 1 stick butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup ground almonds
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 ripe apricots halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons apricot jam
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds


This Is A Very Impressive Cake And So Tasty And Moist You Will Impress Yourself. This Recipe Comes From My Aunt Maggie's Collection That I Inherited In 1980. She Was An Amazing Cook And Baker, Especially Her Cakes And Candies. Enjoy
