Almond-crusted Oven-fried Chicken Recipe


  • 1 C. reduced fat buttermilk (or regular)
  • 2 or 3 T curry powder
  • 2 or 3 t kosher salt
  • 1 t ground black pepper
  • 8 pieces chicken (bone in)
  • 1/2 C almond meal
  • 1 t chipotle chili powder


This Is A Zesty And Healthier Variation On The Traditional Fried Chicken. It Uses Almond Meal Instead Of Breadcrumbs For A Crunchy Coating Without Frying. This Is One Of My Friends' Favorites But It Does Need To Marinate For The Better Part Of A Day, So
