Alambres Recipe


  • 1-1/2 Lbs skirt steak, or meat of your choice (if you can find cecina steak use it)
  • 2 slices bacon, lightly cooked and cut into small peices
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 white onion, sliced thinly
  • 2 roma tomatoes, sliced into thin slices
  • 2 Jalapenos- de-seeded, sliced thinly
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced thinly
  • 18 - 4" tortillas
  • 1/2 ball of queso oaxaca, shredded
  • sour cream
  • Cojita cheese


We Had These Delicios Tacos At A Local Mexican Restaurant And Loved Them So Much We Decided To Make Our Own Version. Alambres In Spanish Means Shish-ka-bob But W/o The Skewer, Its Prepared And Placed On Tacos. You May Use Any Meat You Like For These Also
