- 3 Tbs (45 ml) light corn syrup (golden syrup)
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 cup (250 ml) half-and-half or milk
- 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) heavy cream
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
