Ingredients
- 1/3 cup beer (any ale)
- 2 tbsp. mushroom soy sauce (can be substituted for any other dark soy sauce)
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. olive OR vegetable oil
- 1 medium sweet bell pepper (any color), seeded and sliced into strips
- 1 1/2 cups fresh snow peas (or green beans), OR 1 pkge frozen, defrosted
- 1 1/2 cups thinly sliced or shredded carrots
- 1 1/2 lbs raw shrimp, tails off and deveined
- 1 (15 oz ) can of black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped chives OR scallions
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tbsp. cold water
Description
Not Sure If This Qualifies As An Asian Dish, Since It Has Beer, But Has A Very Unique And Palatable Flavor To It. Beer Really Enhances The Sauce, Making It Taste More Like A Rich Gravy. Even My Kids Eat This.
