Cedar-planked Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 medium plank soaked in water for at least one hour but better if 2 or 3hours.i put mine in the kitchen sink and then i put a heavy can in plastic bag and weigh it down
  • 4 skinless salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1 c fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp bbq spice (see below)
  • 1/2 c shallots, chopped
  • 2 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions,finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp planking spice (see below)
  • 1 lemon , juiced
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • sea salt
  • 1 lemon
  • BONEDUST BBQ seasoning
  • 1/2 c paprika
  • 1/4 c chili powder
  • 3 Tbsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp ground coriander
  • 2 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp curry powder
  • 2 Tbsp dry mustard powder
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp dried basil
  • 1 Tbsp dried thyme
  • 1 Tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 Tbsp cayenne pepper
  • PLANKING spice
  • 1/2 c light brown sugar
  • 1/4 c coarsely ground pepper
  • 1/4 c kosher salt
  • 2 Tbsp mustard seeds cracked
  • 1 Tbsp dried dill weed
  • 1 Tbsp dill seed
  • 1 Tbsp coriander seed
  • 1 Tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 3 Tbsp granulated onion powder
  • 2 tsp granulated garlic powder
