- 6 ounces fresh raspberries (or 6-ounces frozen raspberries, thawed)
- 1/2 quart vanilla gelato (or ice cream), lightly softened
- 1 tablespoons almond liqueur (recommended: Amaretto)
- 1 teaspoons orange zest
- ice
- 2 Italian macaroon cookies (recommended: Amaretti)
