Asian Fajitas Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon five spice powder
  • 1 pound flank steak thinly sliced into strips across the grain
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1/2 onion cut into matchsticks
  • 6 ounces asparagus spears trimmed and cut into 2” lengths
  • 1 yellow squash cut into matchsticks
  • Salsa:
  • 2 large tomatoes coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 small white onion chopped
  • 2 serrano chilies seeded and minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons chili paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • sour cream mixture:
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 12 flour tortillas warmed

ASIAN FAJITAS This Recipe Came From An Estate Sale. I Obtained It When I Purchased The Family Collection From The Cannon Estate In Addison, Texas In 1990. This Makes 12 Fajitas And 2 Fajitas Per Serving Is A Hearty Meal. Enjoy
