Ingredients
- 1 acorn squash halved and seeds removed
- 1/2 lb hot sausage (sweet works well too)
- Handful of breadcrumbs (I use corn bread crumbs)
- 1/4 cup melted butter or butter substitute
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 cup minced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup minced sweet peppers (green, red etc.)
- 1/2 cup cubed swiss cheese
- 1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh sage
- salt and pepper to taste
Description
Another One Of The Many Recipes From My Family That I Try To Improve. This Is A Very Forgiving Recipe That You Can Absolutley Substitute Ingredients That You Prefer. Awesome With A Salad Or Some Wild Rice.
