Apple-pear Ginger Chai Recipe


  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. whole milk
  • 2 teabags Taj Mahal or other black tea
  • 1/4 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp. ginger, peeled and minced
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • dash of nutmeg


This Rich And Flavorful Tea, Made Indian Style, Is A Quick And Delicious Afternoon Treat. Sweetened Mainly With Apple And/or Pear Slices, It Is Also Low In Sugar! For A Reduced-fat Option, Use 2% Milk Instead Of Whole. Skim Milk Not Recommended.
