Ingredients
- 1/3 cup panela (or coconut sugar or light brown sugar)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped (keep the pod)
- ½ tbsp salted butter
- 2 large ripe (black) plantains, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 large *just* ripe (still a hint of green) banana, peeled and cut into chunks
