  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger or cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 cups tap water
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
