Anadama Bread Recipe


  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/3 cup cooking oil
  • 4 1/2-5 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 8 3/4-ounce can cream-style corn


This Recipe Makes 2 Loaves At Approximately 8 Slices Per Loaf. It Is One Of My Favorite Homemade Breads That I Don't Have The Time To Prepare As Often As I Wish. It's Well Worth The Effort If You Take The Time, However!
