Artichokes And Plum Tomatoes With Penne Recipe


  • 12-oz. oil marinated artichoke hearts
  • 1 cup chopped oinions
  • 1 TBSP. finely minced garlic
  • 2 (28-oz.) cans plum tomatoes, crushed
  • 2 TBSP. tomato paste
  • 1 teasp. dried basil
  • 1/2 teasp. dried oregano
  • 1/8 teasp. red-pepper flakes or to taste
  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 2 TBSP.chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
  • cooked penne pasta...12-oz
  • ++++++
  • use the oil from the artichokes for the extra flavor


This Recipe Came In Our Sunday Newspaper. My Husband Thought It Looked And Sounded Good... So I Am Posting It So I Can Put It In My Recipe File....and To Share With All Of You... The Recipe Says It Will Serve 6 But I Don't Know That Sounds Skimpy...
