- 1/2 teaspoon red peppr flakes or 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 6 tablespoons lite or low sodium soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons sherry(Not cooking sherry)or dry white wine
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar or 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 3 tablespoons cool water
- 1 teaspoon peeled minced ginger
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 2/3 cups or 8 tablespoons ice cold water
- 1 green onion chopped
- oil for frying
