Ingredients

  • Bread Dough:

  • One .25-oz. pkg. active dry yeast
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup butter at room temp.
  • Egg Wash:
  • 1 tbsp. cream
  • 1 large egg
  • Dash of ground cinnamon
  • Streusel Topping:
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces
  • Topping:
  • 2 cups fresh blackcaps
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, diced
