Apricot Almond Coffeecake Recipe

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 10 ounce jar apricot preserves
