Fried Cabbage With Some Meat And Stuff Recipe

Ingredients

  • • 1lb (500g) meat or fowl or such like. I used ordinary lean mince meat.
  • • 1 Tbs olive oil. You don’t need this if your meat is fatty. The mince I used was very lean.
  • • 1 small head of cabbage, read would be nice but didn’t have any, sliced thin.
  • • ¼ cup of Portagee sausage, chopped. Could sub smoked bacon, etc.
  • • 1 tsp Worstashire sauce, optional but neat.
  • • 2 medium or 1 large onion, chopped.
  • • 1 large clove of garlic, chopped fine, ± to taste.
  • • 1 Tbs oil from the smoked bell pepper jar. Can sub a very small bell pepper, chopped.
  • • 2 fresh mushrooms, sliced thin.
  • • 1 tsp basil.
  • • ½ - 1 tsp prepared Dijon mustard, optional but a nice tang.
  • • 1 tsp paprika
  • • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • • ½ tsp cumin.
  • • 1 Tbs oyster sauce, to taste, not all oyster sauce is created equal.
  • • 1 Tbs flour
  • • 6 Tbs water
