Assyrian Chicken Kebobs Recipe


  • 2 broiling chickens about 2 pounds each
  • 1/4 teaspoon saffron dissolved in 1 tablespoon hot water
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 large white onions chopped
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • juice of one lemon
  • limes for garnish
  • parsley sprigs for garnish
