• 1 container candied fruit and peel , 16 oz ( see directions )
• Bowl number 2:
• 3 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
• Bowl 3
• 2 sticks softened butter
• 2 cups sugar
• 1/4 cup full fat plain yoghurt or sour cream
• 2 tsp vanilla
• Icing: optional
• 1/2 stick butter softened
• '1 1/2 cup powder sugar or as needed
• 1 tbs cream
• 1 tsp vanilla or tuitti fruiti extract
• coarse white sugar crstals
